What is a QuickStudio backdrop made of?

Our backdrops are printed on premium wrinkle-resistant fabric, designed to look realistic on camera while being lightweight and easy to store.

What sizes are available?

We currently offer two orientations:

• Horizontal (16:9) — 67" wide × 38" tall. Ideal for Zoom, YouTube, and livestreams.
• Vertical (9:16) — 38" wide × 67" tall. Ideal for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.

Can I get a custom size?

Yes! We can produce backdrops in different sizes. Submit your request through our Custom Backdrop Design page and we’ll get back to you with options.

Will it look realistic on camera?

Yes — our backdrops are designed to be viewed on camera at 3–6 feet away, not up close with the naked eye. The print resolution and depth-of-field effect make them look like a real environment on screen.

Can I use it instead of a Zoom virtual background?

Exactly — that’s the idea. The QuickStudio backdrop is a physical backdrop that works with any camera or phone without any software, green screen, plugins, or lag.

Installation

What do I need to hang it?

Nothing extra — 3M Command hooks are included in your package. No drilling, no tools required.

How do I hang it?

Attach the included Command hooks to the wall, then hang the backdrop through the grommets on the top edge. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.

Will it damage my walls?

No. Command hooks use a stretch-release adhesive that removes cleanly without damaging paint or drywall. To remove, hold the base against the wall with one hand and slowly pull the adhesive tab straight down along the wall — never pull it toward you. It releases without leaving marks or residue.

Can I take it down and put it back up?

Yes — that’s the whole point. The fabric rolls or folds for easy storage and re-hangs in seconds.

Where can I find setup instructions?

What’s the ideal distance between me and the camera?

• 16:9 horizontal: sit 20–28 in from the backdrop, and 20–28 in from the camera.
• 9:16 vertical: stand 16–24 in from the backdrop, and 16–24 in from the camera.

Do I need a ring light?

A ring light isn’t required but is recommended. Position it between you and the camera at eye level for even, flattering light. Avoid windows or light sources directly behind you.

What phone settings do you recommend?

Set your aspect ratio to 16:9 (horizontal) or 9:16 (vertical), resolution to 1080p or 4K, and make sure your camera lens is at eye level.

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean it?

Machine wash on a gentle cycle and hang dry. Do not tumble dry or iron directly on the print.

What if it has wrinkles when it arrives?

When hanging your backdrop for the first time, we recommend going over it with a handheld steamer — it removes any creases from shipping in seconds. After a few minutes of hanging, most wrinkles will also fall out naturally on their own.

How do I store it?

Roll it loosely or fold it. Avoid tight creases. Store in the included bag or any breathable fabric bag.

Where do you ship?

We ship free of charge to all 48 contiguous United States. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is available at checkout.

How long does delivery take?

Standard shipping takes 6–8 business days.

Can I return or exchange my backdrop?

Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original condition. Contact us at hello@getquickstudio.com.

I received the wrong item or it arrived damaged. What do I do?

Email us at hello@getquickstudio.com with your order number and a photo. We’ll make it right within 24 hours.
